Our journey began with a simple yet profound goal: to embark on a month-long mission to plant trees and restore the purity of our rivers through the River Cleanliness Campaign.
Inspired by a childhood memory, Mr. Yespal Singh, the CEO of World Forest Foundation, recalls observing his mother diligently planting trees along the roadside when he was just five years old. Curiosity sparked within him, and he asked his mother about her unwavering commitment to tree planting. Her response left an indelible mark on his young mind: “Man must connect with nature and continuously sow the seeds of trees.” Motivated by his mother’s passion for tree planting, he planted a Painya tree on his fifth birthday, igniting a lifelong dedication to environmental preservation. Since that day, Mr. Yespal Singh has personally planted over 15550 trees.
Following extensive discussions on tree plantation and river cleaning initiatives, Mr. Yespal Singh and his team established the World Forest Foundation, an NGO driven by the vision of creating a greener and healthier environment. Notably, our efforts have centered around Environmental plantation campaigns in the World, aimed at fostering a more conducive habitat for all.
The significance of trees to human life is universally acknowledged, yet deforestation remains a grave concern in India. Trees provide us with the oxygen we breathe and the foundation for a healthy existence. They create a disease-free climate, selflessly giving without expecting anything in return. Sadly, human actions often disregard this crucial balance. Therefore, our organization, Save Green, is dedicated to protecting various environmental elements, with a primary focus on trees.
